Really great experience for Valentine’s Day. We shared the two person dish, consisting of multiple meats, vegetables, and all served with Injera beneath. For only €30 per person, it was highly worth it for the amount of food you get.

I love Ethiopian food, and the food at Liyu is as good or better than any I've ever eaten. The injera (flat Ethiopian bread) was delicious and gluten free, the beef was really tasty, I loved the chicken, and I tried some of my friend's beef tartar (raw) which was also so good! They have vegetarian and vegan dishes too, so it's a great option if you are a mixed group of meat-eaters and veggies and want to cater to everyone's dietary needs! The Ethiopian owners (a couple who also cook and serve the food) are so friendly and helpful, and speak great English and German. If you're in Zurich and are looking for a delicious meal, good value for money, and excellent service (and also a nice atmosphere), I highly recommend eating out at Liyu!

Dinner in 2023: Tasty food and the service was really good! Had a good laugh there. Plus tap water was for free which is rare nowadays to find in Zurich .

We had a wonderful evening at Liyu‘s. It was my first experience with Ethiopian food and I could’ve not chosen a better restaurant for it! The waitress was welcoming and kind and I really recommend having dinner here!

We can only agree with the reviews from your other customers. It was our first time eating ethopian and we were astonished. The meat was the best, the fine chicken espacially. Thank you for this experience, we will be back 😉

Very very delicious 😋, I realy enjoy any part of the choices, I recommend it, I will continue to come whenever I need to eat ethiopian food. This food very healthy for vegetarian, meat lover, or mix. If it is your first time to test ethiopian food, come this restaurant 😋 👌
